Senior Performance Analyst

Information:

Firm Investment Management is seeking a highly motivated selfstarter to join its’ team. This position is responsible for all aspects of investment performance at the firm. This includes a clear understand of how performance is calculated, maintenance of composites, as well as all performance reporting both internal and external.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Produces management reporting to measure and track firm's product quality across all product lines through performance measurement and analysis.
  • Oversee the calculation and reporting of daily, monthly and quarterly investment performance, including website returns, marketing material, annual and prospectus reporting, and internal performance reporting.
  • Overall responsibility and oversight for the maintenance of performance composites.
  • Responsible for handling the annual performance audit.
  • Monitor CFA Institute/GIPS standards.
  • Works closely with compliance and responsible for making sure the firm is abiding to all of the record keeping requirements for performance reporting.
  • Maintains all relevant benchmark data for all of our products.
  • Monitor all operational aspects that impact investment performance, including reviewing performance on all new accounts for reasonableness.
  • Perform specific reviews and tasks for client reporting purposes.
  • Respond to client meeting requests and other performance-related inquiries from Private Client Group or other internal departments.
  • Oversee the outsourced performance platform.
  • Oversee the calculation, review and distribution of month-end client performance. Assist in the analysis of investment performance.
  • Serve as point person for all requests for performance data.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as required by management.
  • Familiar with Security APL, FactSet Portfolio Analysis, FactSet SPAR, Morningstar Direct, Sylvan, GWP
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related performance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applied expertise and knowledge of a specific technical or functional area.
  • Prior exposure to sleeve-level and/or sub-account reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Experience with Morningstar, Lipper, and FactSet, Evestment investment management tools
  • CIPM, CFA or MBA a plus.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated ability to exchange complex information effectively to reach agreement in ambiguous or difficult situations
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders
